A day in the life...
Don´t bother getting up too early- nothing opens until 10am, sometimes 11am so just relax and enjoy a sleep in and leisurely breakfast. Breakfast, by the way, usually consists of some sort of muesli bar, fruit juice, a piece of fruit or yoghurt.
We start the day by wandering to a cafe and enjoy an espresso (which is pretty good), followed by some window shopping. The fashion in Spain is somewhat superior to Australia - you must be colour co-ordinated, including handbag and shoes. Even the children and babies are exquisitely dressed. It´s quite funny to hear little children babbling to their parents in Spanish´- I´m sure they know more words than we do!
Late morning is often spent sitting in front of a beautiful building or in a garden with Rowena reading a book while Daniel sketches. The other day, we were sitting outside St Feliu and we could hear the pipe organ playing Pachabel´s Canon followed by ´Thine be the glory´ - nothing short of magical.
Lunch might be tapas, which are certainly worth the trip, or a ´tortilla´ from the panaderia, which is an omelette in an olive baguette which is spread with olive oil, tomato and garlic. Mmmmm. There are plenty of galleries and museum to fill an afternoon with, or some more window shopping.....
By evening, our legs are tired (and Rowena is sunburned) and we retire with a good bottle of wine and a cheese baguette of various flavours. The cathedral is very nearby so there´s no need for an alarm clock - we always know what the time is.

Now that's my idea of a great Sunday!! - or any other day for that matter. Both of us are green with jealousy :-)

What a life! You guys are going to have THE best tans in no time!! Have you found any more wine bottles with little bulls attached to them?! (surely that's a sign of quality!). Enjoy the experience - we're missing you terribly, but knowing you're having the time of your lives makes it a bit easier for those of us who are stuck doing our normal day-in-day-out stuff!!
