It´s a tough life

Well friends, thank you to all who have bothered reading this insane drivel and writing replies in either email or on the site. We read them and smile knowing that somewhere, someone speaks english. Well, our language is slowly improving, but we a re quickly realising that to work here we may also need an operational level of a dialect called Catalan, which seems to be more prevalent than any guide books ever suggested! But, some things you only find out by seeing for yourself, and i guess that this is one of them.

We are looking at changing accomodation soon to save a few extra dollars, but beyond that we´ll try whatever we can - up to and including selling sketches to gullable tourists (among whom i class myself also). There are quite a large number of sunburnt poms around (sorry dad), but i have no idea how they afford the food here!

For those interested (and it better be all of you, you hear?) Rowenas back is much better, as is her leg. Thanks to those of you who have followed our medical progress over the last few weeks.
