Boredom and Brie

Well, due to the vagaries of international beureaucracy we are having to cut our overseas extravaganza short, making it an extrava, without the ganza. We have sorted some tickets to the uk on the 9th and plan to tour friends and family for a few weeks before jumping a jumbo south, where we´ll see you all sometime in September.

I know, its a little sad, but sometimes things just don´t go the way you´d like. To console ourselves, last night saw us tucked into our little room in the pensione, eating bries sandwiches (with tomato, basil pesto and cracked pepper) and washing them down with some fine 1999 Navara Tempranillo (only 4 euro!). Decadent, i know, but with nowhere to be and nothing in particular to do, we´ve found ourselves faced with a brand new problem - holiday boredom! To combat this, not only are we eating rich food, we are planning to head to the beachside mecca of Cadaques for a final farewell to Spain.

We have also started collecting a smashing wardrobe of spanish finery to dazzle you all with on our return, and are strangely looking forward to seeing everyone again.

have people stopped reading the blogspots or are they just too envious to reply or just plain lazy in the cold southern winter?
They should come to the northern hemisphere to thaw out
See you soon

Hi Hondo and Weenie (taking liberties with the nick-names there, I know),
International bureacracy can be like that, but it will be great to have you back. I can sense some long TDF recaps coming up. I can't wait! SQL and I are planning our BIAD training schedule.
