In an english country garden

Well we made it. Here we are standing outside Windsor Castle just moments before the marching band started up and ran us clean off the road, in what is apparently a rare changing of the guard. However, it all seems so long ago now.
Since then, we've seen the sights of Cambridge, wandered the streets of Birmingham, reflected in Bath (yes, i know), meandered through Holt, explored Cardiff, Bristol, Yeovil, Brighton, Shoreham-by-Sea - where does it end? Well, for us it ends soon - this sunday in fact, when we board a plane (BA - hoping there will be food...) and make the long trip back to the antipodes.

We have seen a host of strange and marvellous things here in England, only a few of which i will mention here:
Australian Buskers (everywhere)
Frumpy waitresses (ditto)
Bicycles in Cambridge - amazing and very cool
Polite queues
Pushy drivers
Stony beaches
Ancient hedges lining ultra green fields
Picnics in the rain (ok, so that was us, but)
Ramblers, complete with socks pulled over trousers
Sunbakers in the park
Underwear at the beach
Fish and Chips
the list could go on for ever.
But it wont, and we'll most likely be home before we write again, so see you soon.
